May 6, 2020 – A grant boosting the blueberry sector was awarded Wednesday by USAID and the Kosovo Ministry of Agriculture to Kosovo. The assistance in the amount of 43,964 Euro went to soft fruit company Prilli 98 in the Hereç village of the Gjakova municipality. They are soft fruit cultivators, working with raspberry, aronia and blackberries. The assistance will help the company establish 1.5 hectares of blueberries and promote innovative technologies through modern irrigation, which would orient the farm’s production fully toward soft fruit production. This grant was financed by the Kosovo Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MAFRD).
